What Did Parents Think of Us This Easter?!
Spring has sprung and another fantastic Easter season has wrapped up at Barracudas! With the sunshine (mostly!) on our side and lots of happy faces across our camps, it’s time to take a moment to reflect on how we did – straight from the people who matter most: our parents.
Our mission remains the same year-round – to give every child such an amazing experience they can’t wait to come back!. To help us stay on track and continue improving, we ask parents to complete a quick survey after each season. Their insights help us understand what’s working well and where we can make things even better.
We’re delighted to have received over 600 responses from parents this Easter. A huge thank you to everyone who shared their feedback!

First impressions set the tone for the whole experience, and we know how important it is that both parents and children feel confident and excited from day one. We’re thrilled to report that 97% of parents had a positive first impression when arriving at our Easter camps.

This Easter, 97% of parents rated our activity selection as Excellent or Good, highlighting the variety and flexibility we’re proud to offer.

We carefully choose our locations to make sure they’re not only safe and secure, but also equipped with everything we need to deliver the best camp experience possible. 98% of parents told us they were impressed with the facilities at their chosen site this Easter.

Our staff make the magic happen – and they left quite the impression this Easter! We’re incredibly proud that 96% of parents felt our team were enthusiastic, caring, and professional throughout the season.

“My 5-year-old daughter had an absolutely fantastic time at the Easter holiday camp! Every day she came home full of excitement, telling us all about the fun activities she got to do. She especially loved the swimming sessions and couldn’t stop talking about the bouncy castle — it was definitely one of the highlights for her! The staff were friendly, caring, and made her feel really comfortable from the very start. It was so reassuring to know she was in safe hands while having such a great time. We’ll definitely be signing up again for the next holiday camp — highly recommended!”
“My son is 4 and in reception and this was the first activity camp (Woodford) we tried out for him since starting school. We were nervous that he'd be overwhelmed but the staff were really friendly at reception on the first day and he absolutely loved the activities and couldn't wait to go back the following days. It's great to know we have such a good option for the summer holidays - we'll definitely be booking in again..”
“Thank you to everyone at Barracudas Waldegrave Twickenham for this Easter week. My son hadn’t been before, was one of the youngest, and we didn’t really know if he would like it. But we’ve been blown away by how much he’s enjoyed himself, and how he’s grown so much as a little person in these few days. He’s had such a great time and was even awarded ‘Minnow of the Week’! We’re really grateful to all the team (especially Jamie, Darcy and Minnow leader, Rosie!) for being so friendly and caring and putting on a packed programme of activities. We’ll be back in the summer.”

Ofsted Results – Easter 2025
We’re also proud to share that our Easter camps received positive visits from Ofsted this season. Our Brighton, Hutton, Winchester and Wokingham camps were inspected and all received a positive 'Met' rating, with some fantastic comments from the inspectors. We were delighted to achieve the highest rating available for school holiday clubs, reaffirming our commitment to providing high-quality, safe, and engaging holiday childcare.
