We had an amazing time at our Easter camps in 2023. We were pleased to see so many children join us for the school holidays.
That's a lot of fun and memories made throughout the 2 weeks.
We genuinely care about your experience at Barracudas. We have high standards and we aim to exceed your expectations every season. This is why we send a survey out to our bookers after each camp ends, so we know that we're hitting the mark and are able to make any improvements as we continue to grow.
832 bookers completed our Easter camp survey. The results are now in and we're pleased to share these with you here.
We know it’s important to start off right, with a smooth and simple booking experience. We've invested in an improved website and booking experience to make sure your experience is as easy as possible. This Easter we’re pleased 98% of our customers' rated their online booking experience as either excellent or good.
The first impression of camp is really important both for children and their parents. As children attend camp on their own, it's vital that we can reflect the camp experience well for parents during drop off and collection. We're pleased that 98% of respondents said they had a positive first impression of Barracudas Activity Day Camps.
Barracudas is proud to offer over 80+ activities and a choice for every session. Barracudas is all about the chance to try a range of new, fun and exciting activities. When kids are having fun and kept entertained, parents can have peace of mind! Whatever your child is into, there'll always be something at camp to enjoy. 95% of parents thought the activities at Barracudas were excellent or good this Easter.
A big part of the camp experience is the relationship our children and parents build up with our staff. Each member has an enhanced DBS and full training for specialist sessions. It's not just their qualifications that count though. We know how important it is that children are inspired by enthusiastic, energetic and engaging leaders at camp. We're delighted that 96% of parents felt our staff really hit the mark this Easter.
Parents want drop off and pick up to be smooth and seamless every day at camp. We're pleased to be leading the way and investing in new systems so we can provide the best experience.
In 2021 we introduced contactless registration and collection, mainly with a view to keep children, parents and staff safe during the pandemic. Our new QR code procedures are well received with over 95% of parents responses being excellent or good.
We are always looking for ways to make holiday camps as easy as we can for parents. Our parent app offers access to their bookings, useful information, daily timetables and specific camp location details and instant access to the QR code at their fingertips. It's great to know that parents find this really useful, with 80% having downloaded the app. Of those who downloaded it, 78% were pleased with how this worked. Of course, we'd want this to a full 100% and we're still working on future developments!
We asked our parents how likely they would be to recommend us to a friend, on a scale of 1-10. We were thrilled that the average score was 8.7. This is reflected in how popular our Recommend a Friend scheme is!
We were delighted to also receive over 40 independent customer reviews on Trustpilot over Easter. Now with over 1.2K reviews and an Excellent rating, you can have peace of mind that your child is in safe hands at Barracudas!
