Are your Childcare Vouchers or Tax Free Childcare burning a hole in your pocket?
Since the COVID-19 restrictions were introduced and kids either didn’t need or weren’t allowed to attend childcare settings many parents have built up a big reserve of vouchers and are concerned that they’ll miss out on being able to use these up.
Parents could potentially miss out on a significant amount of money, from hundreds to possibly thousands of pounds as Childcare Vouchers do eventually expire. Different providers have different processes and expiry conventions so it’s definitely worth checking yours. Customers aren’t necessarily informed when their vouchers are due to expire, but there are ways to claim these back. Take a look at this article from Money Saving Expert for more information and advice on how to claim expired vouchers back.
The good news is that as all our camps are Ofsted registered we can accept all Childcare Vouchers as well as Tax-Free Childcare.
After a full year of on and off lockdown, you could have accumulated a significant bank of vouchers. It’s great news for your child as settings begin to open up and they can rekindle friendships and passions. It’s also great news that you can use your built up bank of vouchers to make the most of these opportunities.
Barracudas have made it really straightforward for you to use your Childcare Vouchers or Tax-Free Childcare as payment for school holiday activities. All you need to do is to select the option in the payment section on your booking. You can pay in full or in part with your vouchers and if your provider allows it you can pay us in monthly instalments to spread the cost. Whatever suits you best, is fine with us!
Your Childcare Voucher and Tax-Free Childcare payments are as secure with Barracudas as cash payments. If you select our Flex booking option, we can refund these payments back to you if for any reason you have to cancel your booking. Your payment is also secure under our COVID-19 Risk Free promise. In the unlikely event that we have to cancel our camps due to COVID-19 we’ll refund these payments back to you if you’ve booked with Flex and if you’ve chosen the Non-Flex option we’ll give you a credit to use another time. Most Childcare Vouchers can be directly refunded back tand for those that don’t accept refunds (Edenred) we can make a payment directly to your bank account. For more information read our COVID-19 Secure Camps policy.
