Childcare Vouchers and Tax Free Childcare vouchers

You can use Tax-Free childcare or Childcare Vouchers as full or part payment for your Barracudas holiday camp booking.

You can either book online and select this option or notify us over the phone. Either way your booking will save on our system for 10 days until we receive your voucher payment. If we haven’t received the minimum payment by this time your booking will automatically be removed and you’ll need to book again.

We should receive the payment within 7-10 working days. Until we receive this your booking will remain as a 'provisional' booking.

Once we've been notified of your payment we'll confirm your booking with an email. If you’re not sure how to proceed please call us on 01480 467 567 and we can run through the process.

Paying in instalments

If you book early, you can pay monthly interest-free instalments using Tax-Free childcare or Childcare Vouchers, helping you spread the cost of your school holiday childcare.

You can secure your booking by paying our minimal deposit amount with Tax-Free childcare or Childcare Vouchers, then pay us in instalments up until the balance due date or clear the full balance by our balance due date.

Making a booking within a week of your date

If you're booking within 7 days of the booking start date, or your camp is busy and we have run the registers for that day/week, this option won't be available in the payment section. In this case you'll need to make the full payment by credit/debit card at the time of booking.

You can still pay with Tax-Free childcare or Childcare Vouchers; just request the payment as you would normally and we'll reimburse you once we receive the payment.

You can select the option to pay by Tax-Free childcare online where you must enter your long childcare reference number (usually 4 initials followed by 5 digits and ending in TFC e.g. BBAR12345TFC).

How to pay

• Select your camp location and dates
• Select 'Tax-Free childcare/Childcare Vouchers' in the payment options
• Login to your Tax-Free childcare account
• Send payment to Barracudas (you can choose to pay the minimum deposit, part payment of full payment)
• If paying in instalments/or clearing the full amount by the balance due date: Login to your Tax-Free childcare account each month and make a payment to Barracudas Activity Day Camps OR log in at least 7 days before our balance due date and pay the balance in full

Tax-Free childcare refunds

Tax-Free childcare payments can accept refunds. To process a refund back to your Tax-Free childcare account we will need your payment reference number which begins with 11.
This can be found the following way:

• Sign into your account through the Tax-Free childcare website.
• Select ‘Your Tax-Free childcare Account’
• Select Manage Account
• Select Pay money in
• Your payment reference will appear on this page under ‘payment reference’

We use the childcare voucher companies listed below, but we'll always try to add a new one if you use another provider.

How to pay

• Select your camp location and dates
• Select 'Tax-Free childcare/Childcare Vouchers' in the payment options
• Contact your Childcare Voucher provider to forward the payment to us, quoting your customer booking ID as a reference
• You can choose to pay the minimum deposit, part payment of full payment
• If paying in instalments/or clearing the full amount by the balance due date: please check your provider can accommodate this and arrange the payments directly through them either each month OR at least 7 days before our balance due date to pay the balance in full

Childcare Voucher refunds

Refunds can be made directly back to your childcare voucher provider with the exception on Edenred where we would offer this as credit in your account or transfer to another Childcare provider you are signed up with. NB: Bravo benefits charge a £25 admin fee to process a refund, this cost will be deducted from the refund amount and Bravo benefits will be advising customers of this.
