A: Expect each day to be different at camp. This is due to a wide range of activities that you’ll be delivering.
A: Days off must be authorised by your recruiter ahead of camp. If you wish to have a day off during camp, you must speak to your Camp Manager to request this. Please contact your recruiter in advance ahead of booking medical appointments, etc that may clash with the Camp’s operating hours.
A: We will provide each new staff member with branded uniform. Included will be 2 T-shirts (3 for Lifeguards) and 1 jumper. The jumpers will not need to be returned and can be kept for future working seasons, which is referred to as our ‘Jumper for Life’ policy. Staff will then receive 2 more T-shirts per season worked. You’ll need to provide your size when applying.
A: Wages are age, role, and experience dependant. You can find the wages in the job descriptions of each job role. Your wage could be increased should you complete one of our free training courses. Payroll is processed on the last day of camp and will land 5 working days later. There may be additional payroll processed earlier in the season over the summer, depending on your camps operating weeks.
A: During Easter and Summer, we offer intensive courses designed to progress the children’s skills. These courses run an hour a day, and the children must be booked in for the full week for an additional fee to attend. The courses included are Motor Mania, Discovery Squad, Dance Fusion and Swim School! Some courses are assigned to roles whilst others can be opted in to. If you have a particular interest or would like further information on the course offering, please contact the Central Office Training Team.
A: Theme days take place on the last day of each week. You get to dress up, play themed games and have a good time. For more information on themes and dates, please see the Theme Days page.
A: Should it rain, we have a wet weather programme which we follow if the weathers too bad. However, if its light rain then we will continue with outdoor activities, so please bring adequate outdoor clothing.
A: You will need to bring a packed lunch along with any snacks to help refuel during the day. This includes bringing a water bottle, which can be refilled throughout the day as the sites refilling stations. You can bring mobile phones, however these must be left in the staff room/office camp during the day. All staff may be required to support a swimming session, so you’ll need to bring swimwear daily.
A: We are following official guidance issued by government departments and medical authorities. We will continue to act in accordance with official guidance as it develops and we will update you with any additions to our policies prior to your attendance at our camps.
